Water Resistant Inner Liner

The bed’s inner liner, used to contain the cushioning inside a George Barclay luxury dog bed, is equipped with Moisture ShieldTM technology. The liner’s surfaces adjacent to the bed’s sleep area are backed with a waterproof PU (Polyurethane) coating, protecting the bed’s filling from moisture. This water resistant barrier remains flexible, with minimal noise, so as not to disturb dogs as they settle.

SofTough^TM

Many George Barclay pet beds are produced using our SofToughTM fabrics. These materials provide a soft, inviting surface for pets to lie on, yet are extremely durable. This is achieved by using a multi-layer fabric composition. SofTough™

WoofWax^TM

The sleep area of many George Barclay dog beds has been coated with WoofWaxTM water repellent. WoofWaxTM is applied to the fabric fibres forming a flexible water repellent barrier, preventing the material from ‘wetting out’ and allowing moisture vapour to pass through, maintaining breathability.

Machine Washable

To help keep George Barclay dog beds looking and smelling like new, all outer cover/covers are machine washable. Please refer to the care instructions inside the beds cover for specific washing instructions. Clean bedding will not only minimise bad odours but will also keep your dog’s skin and coat looking healthy. You may also want to consider keeping two sets of bedding so you can change everything on a weekly basis with less hassle and stress.

Memory Topper Mattress

Our Memory Topper mattress is a formed mattress, with superior comfort and supportive characteristics. The base of the mattress is produced from a high-density foam, providing uncompromised support for even the largest breeds. The mattress's top layer utilises a dense memory foam with optimum rebound characteristics, allowing the mattress to contour to your dog’s body shape. The dual layer construction ensures the mattress will remain cooler than a conventional memory foam mattress.

Memory Topper Mattresses form the shape of your pets body, this has a huge range of benefits including helping to relieve pressure from achy muscles or joints which is especially important for older dogs who are more susceptible to arthritis. Encapsulated Pocket Sprung Mattress

The George Barclay Encapsulated Pocket Sprung Mattress provides a sublime level of comfort and support for your four-legged friend. The mattress is constructed using several individual springs encased in cloth sleeves, called pockets. These pocket springs allow independent movement, contouring the mattress to the shape of your dog's body. The cluster of springs is encapsulated in a foam shell, to achieve the utmost level of comfort and support. Recommended for larger breeds and elderly dogs.

Orthopaedic - Blended Memory Foam Particles

Our orthopaedic dog bed cushions orthopaedic dog bed cushions are produced using a blend of memory foam and high-density foam. This combination achieves a supportive cushion with the correct orthopaedic properties and rebound characteristics. The blended memory foam particles easily mould around the shape of your dogs’ body, achieving supreme comfort and support for your companion. A simple shake of the fill will invigorate the particles as needed. The blended particle mattress lets your dog nestle into the bed. The foam particles can move within the beds channelled liners to accommodate your dog's body shape.

Hollow Fibre Cushioning

Hollow Fibre is a synthetic, man-made material, consisting of hollow strands that allow air to pass through, trapping it within the strand. The trapped air produces loft within the fibre, giving the fill its cushioning and insulation characteristics. Our beds are generously filled, to create a plump cushion with a soft to medium feel, more suited to smaller breeds.
